I’m considering removing the accidental possibility of breaking it, and adding that it protects Strahd from ALL sunlight effects (natural or magical) until destroyed. (reddit)
I’m also changing the lore slightly here. The reason so many people in Barovia lack souls is….they’re all trapped powering the Heart of Sorrow. They’ll be released in dramatic fashion if the heart is destroyed. (reddit)
